As a pregnant parent, you may receive care from a combination of family physicians, midwives, obstetricians, nurses, lactation consultants, and community health professionals who will work together to provide care that is appropriate for you during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period.

The South Okanagan Maternity Centre is a team-based clinic providing collaborative interdisciplinary care for parents with low-risk pregnancies.

Primary Care
In Oliver + Princeton

Physicians who offer obstetric services, care for low-risk pregnant people and their babies throughout pregnancy, delivery, and into well-child checkups.

Obstetricians

Obstetricians are physicians with specialized education and training in the medical management of pregnancy, labour and birth.

Midwives

Willow Midwives is a community-based clinic for families in the South Okanagan to access comprehensive midwifery care.
